Today, the New York Times saw fit to print a list of the 53 Places to Go in 2008 . I can only guess that they came up with that number based on one location for approximately every week in 2008.
Looking at the list two things are clear:
- I need to become independently wealthy
- I need to add a lot of places to my "must visit" list
In fact, of the 53 places that the NYT recommends, I have been to three (Oslo, Munich, and San Francisco) and I will shortly visit one more (San Diego). That only leaves 49 places left to see in 2008!!! And so here's hoping that, amongst other things, 2008 brings lots of exciting travel to sumptuous destinations!
