I'm Back and 20 Shades Darker

I'm baaaaaaaaaack! :o) I had a SPECTACULAR vacation. It had a little bit of everything: the pomp and circumstance of my call ceremony, friends and yummy eats in Vancouver, a spectacular (essentially) private villa on an amazing stretch of beach in Mexico, one incredibly stylish hacienda, another insanely historical hacienda, and one last night in the luxury of my Cancun hotel.

I have SO much to share with you and so many pictures too! I'll start off with the Vancouver re-cap tonight. You see most of the Mexico pictures are in my mom's camera. They're being couriered to me as I type. As soon as I have them I'll blog about them! :o)

Oh and I didn't forget about you guys - I bought a small little present in Mexico for a giveaway! It's going to be good times bloggies!!!

Addendum: I just realized how insanely fake that picture looks. It's not. I didn't steal it. I took it in Tulum at sunrise on my first full day there. I didn't photoshop the living daylights out of it either. That's what it looks like.

Now you understand why I left a bit of my heart in that isolated place in Mexico . . . *sigh*

Danica,

But you live in California! Surely you have a perma-tan!? :o)

Marianne,

lol I actually don't think I have any shoe shots! By that point I was starving and too busy taking pictures of the yummy food! lol

Joss,

I think I heard something about it on the last day when I was in Cancun. To be honest I was mostly cut off from the world. In fact in Tulumt we had no access to internet or even phone!

And no swine flu. Actually it's sad because everyone fears it and is staying away. SO much so that the places down there are bleeding money. And my wedding location may not exist in a couple of months (at least not with current managment)!

Bec,

I promise to get posting soon. I totally meant to do it last night and managed to completely pass out I was SO tired!!!! lol I think my body needed a rest!

aron,

It was SUCH a wonderful trip!!! I'm going to have some serious recommendations to make for others planning trips to the Yucatan/Quintana Roo area!
