On the Road Again

Hola Bloggies!!!

I've spent the last week on a much needed vacation. :o)

I got to return to Victoria, Vancouver Island - the last place I called home. We spent our time hanging out with family, enjoying my favourite foodie establishments, going for long walks along the ocean, and getting in some killer workouts at my trainer's gym.

I guess you could say it was all kinds of awesome!!! :oP

We spent our last night in Vancouver so i could catch up with my friends. As usual we stayed at our favourite hotel - the Westin Bayshore (I took the above picture from our balcony) It's right on the water and adjacent to Stanley Park. I love the location!!!

Plus as an added bonus they treated Daisy like quite the pampered pooch. They even gave her a Heavenly Dog Bed to use. She loved it! :o)

Unfortunately my vacation has come to an end and we are now driving the eleven hour journey
back to our casa. Once home I'll get to work uploading all the pics from the last week. I made sure to document all of my adventures for you and can't wait to share!

See you soon!!! :o)

Kelly,

it's by far the saddest part of any vacation! It probably helps to explain why I'm already dreaming of the next one! lol

Marlene,

I'm a Toronto girl at heart but there's just something about the Coast that's good for my soul! :o)

Glad you and the boy-fiance-our son both enjoyed the holiday. It was a treat to have all of you there to help us celebrate the occasion. We also loved getting aquainted with the grand doggie. get home safetly.

Only one night in Vancouver? Le sigh - will we ever get to meet up? I'm glad you had an awesome time. I'm kinda missing my old life in Vic these days as well.

postie,

It was an absolute pleasure to visit! And I know Daisy loved her time with the Fiance's family.

Hopefully we can come back soon in the New Year!

Marianne,

In restrospect (given how horribly sick I am) it was probably best we couldn't meet up.

Are you heading out this way any time soon?
